Jason Ancheta analyzes U.S. initiatives in the Northern Triangle and the need to stop corruption throughout this region.
I am an incoming junior at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Government. Stemming from an intellectual passion for serving society, I am pursuing a career at the crossroads of these disciplines.
My past internship experiences have given me a varied taste of different fields: a peek into BigLaw, client-facing experience in finance, and even some dabbles in banking regulation through federal agencies. With these positions, I have also been able to gradually affirm my interests at the intersection of business, law, and policy as I learn more.
If I'm not scooting around Austin, you can find me dancing street styles like Locking or ballroom/social styles like West Coast Swing, practicing nunchucks to emulate my martial artist heroes like Bruce Lee, or maybe even cooking a bit.
