The 2019 women’s rally organized by the Texas Reproductive Rights Rally organization (TRRR) consisted of a diverse crowd, countless signs, and lots of pink.  The rally was strategically scheduled just 3 days before the 46th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision – a landmark case for women’s rights.  People of all ages and colors challenged the harsh winds of that Sunday afternoon to manifest their support for women’s rights.  Speakers came to advocate for a wide variety of issues from immigration to equal wages, and though plagued by a number of counter protesters donning their “Trump 2020” signs and megaphones, the air of unity, strength, and resilience held strong.
